As the part of Science Tourism, Exploratory arranged the Trip to Trivandrum, Kerala to witness "Annular Solar Eclipse". 30 students and 12 staff members witnessed this unique celestial event on 15th Jan 2010 from Trivandrum. We also visited Vikram Sarabhai Space centre and watched Two Rocket Launches and space Musium. At Kanyakumari we visited Vivekanand Rock Memorial, Gandhi Dham.
Exploratory organized a computer course for senior citizens. It included the Basic computer skills. Introduction to Internet. E- Mailing, E-phoning, E- Chatting, E- Banking etc. 16 Senior citizens participated in the program.
Exploratory organized a "Inter school Quiz competition". The final round was held on 24th Dec 2009. The team from St. Vincent won the First Prize followed by Abhinav English medium scholl won second prize and DAV public school won the third prize. Dr. Sameeran Walvekar, Director EMRC Pune was the Quiz master.
Exploratory arranged a "Science Lecture Series" from 4th May 2009 to 8th May 2009 at Kothrud subcentre. It was open to all. Eminent personalities from various fields delivered lecture on different topic like "Madhumeha, Anuvanshikata Ki Jeevenshaily(Dr. Shailaja Kale), Sanganak Zajawat(Dr. Deepak Shikarpur), Bharatachi Avakash Zep(Dr. Suresh Naik), Pani Uplabdhi, Vikas(Dr. C. D. Thatte), Stemcells Upcharpaddhati(Dr. Ramesh Bhonde) etc"
Exploratory arranged a interesting program of 'science through music'. Surmani Milind Tulankar a famous Jaltarang wadak plyaed on Jaltarang and side by side explained various concepts in science while playing it.
Exploratory arranged a study tour in the Jungle of Tamhini to study various ascpects of nature.48 students and the staff of Exploratory participated in this.
Vasundhara trust and MESC jointly conducted an Essay competition on "Climate change due to human interference and its prevention". 380 students from different schools participated. Of these 9 won prizes under different categories. Prize distribution ceremony was held on 13th Dec 2008.
MESC had organized an innovative workshop in mathematics on 23rd and 24th Dec 2008. Around 40 students had participated . The workshop was conducted by renowned expert in origami, Mr. Ravindra Keskar.
To incucate importance and need of alternative sources of energy, a 3 day workshop on fabrication of Solar cooker (box type) was held at MECS. The workshop was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. M. G. Takawale
A novel program of "Science through music" was organized by MESC at "Sardar Natu Sabhagruha for BVB and Exploratory students. Mr. Milind Tulankar, noted Jaltarang player interacted with 300 students along with demonstrations.
This Lecture was jointly organized by Maharashtra Academy of Science and Muktangan Exploratory Science Centre. Dr. A. S. Kolaskar gave lecture on 'Excitements in Biotechnology'. Many reknowned scientists were present on this day.
Exploratory started its very first subcentre at Paranjpe Vidya Mandir Kothrud from June 2008. This centre has been inaugurated at the hand's of Ltd. Gen.(retd) Y. D. Sahasrabuddhe, Ex Chairman of BVB
Prof. Yashpal Visited EXploratory and interacted with staff.
Exploratory organized the project competition in association with Rotary Club Shivajinagar Pune, on 27th and 28th Feb 2008 for the children from different schools in Pune.

On behalf of Muktangan Exploratory Science, Dr. Ramesh Joshi, Director of Muktangan Exploratory Science Centre received The award at the hands of Dr. R. A. Mashelkar on 19 th Dec 2007.
Exploratory conducted a Telescope making workshop on 21st to 23rd Dec 2007. Children made their own Telescopes and enjoyed watching sky.
Exploratory arranged a field visit to GMRT on 23rd Nov 2007. 41 children along with staff of the Exploratory visited GMRT and collected information about Radio Telescope.
On 17t h Jan 2007 The President of India Honorable Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam visited Muktangan Exploratory Science centre. He interacted with children for about 45 minutes.
