Viewing Gallery: Exhibition of Films, Computer Learning Packages

In the new building, we have provided for a viewing gallery cum auditorium. We propose to screen a large number of exciting science films collected from all over the world. Seeing some of the films and computer learning packages is an education in itself. The viewing gallery will provide for video projection system, LCD projection system, computers etc.

All the year around there will be programmes, for screening of films. Each session of filming would admit only 25 students at a time. The screening will last for 45 minutes or so. Students will be charged nominally so to cover recurring expenditure.

Science and Industry (technology) Exposition

In the new building of Exploratory, we have made provision for science exposition as well as technology (industrial) exposition. Science Exposition will essentially aim at conveying to the students that it is the basic concepts, that they discover, are at the foundation of many a developments in science as well as in technology.

The philosophy that will be followed in laying out science and technology exposition is to (a) inform children and the general public about some recent and emerging developments in various branches of science and technology (b) to bring home to the children that various scientific and technology developments have at their core some basic concepts which they discover in the Exploratory and (c) to provoke children to conceive of new applications of the basic concepts.

Both the science and industrial expositions will be open for school and college children for their education.  It will also be open to the general public to make them scientifically minded and make them more science friendly.
