Workshop on Solar Eclipse

This year 2009 is being celebrated as International Astronomy Year. Astronomy lovers will get the rare delight of visualizing Total Solar Eclipse on 22nd July 2009 as well as Partial Solar Eclipse on 15th January 2010. Muktangan Exploratory Science Centre will on this occasion carry out a workshop on 23rd and 24th June 2009 for the purpose of providing a scientific vision about Solar Eclipse to the participants. The workshop will be conducted by Shri Hemant Mone, well-versed in the astronomy field. The workshop timings will be from 1.00 Noon to 5 p.m. There is no entrance fee for this workshop. All parents, teachers, students studying Std. XII above are requested to register their names immediately. Admission will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Young Explorer project competition

On 27th and 28th Feb 2009,"Young Explorer project competition" will be organized jointly by Rotary club, Shivaji Nagar Pune, and BVB's Muktangan Exploratory Science centre. Teachers and students are requested to register for their project entries with MESC office .

MESC is orgnising a "One Day Workshop" on 30 th Aug 2008 on HOW to teach life skills to my child?

Children in the Adolescent age face a number of physical or phisiological changes. Thet time they come across various problems. To answer these questions becomes a problem for the parents. To solve this problem MESC is arranging a one Day workshop for the parents whose wards are students of std 7 to std 9.

Teacher Training Programme

We have organised a Teacher's Training Program for two days on "Teaching Physics and Chemistry through Demo Experiments" on 7th and 8th Aug 08 at Muktangan ExploratoryScience Centre, Pune -16. The programme orients teachers towards using demo experiments in Physics and Chemistry in the class.

Demo experiments in the class room enables students understand better.
